In January you can expect temperatures to average a cool -15C. Don't worry about the cold (if you are dressed correctly you won't even notice it!), it just makes the scenery more stunning. This is why many of our Lapland holidays include warm outer clothing. During the deep winter months there is a brilliant blue glow to the sky as the low lying sun skims across the horizon.
