Fulufjällsbyn Log Cabins (Winter)
The park covers 40,000 hectares and at its peak exceeds 1000m above sea level. Further down you will find birch and pine forests, deep ravines and unique wildlife and flora. The rich variety of wildlife includes brown bears, lynx, elk, red deer and beavers. Look to the skies for eagles, harriers and owls. One of the most famous features of the park is Sweden's highest waterfall at 96 meters. Spectacular during the summer, magical in the winter when it is frozen! It is also possible to see the Northern Lights at Fulufjällsbyn.
Park facts- 22 self catering log cabins with 4, 6 and 8 beds all with a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher) and open fire. The 8 bed cabins also have a sauna

Winter activities include
Alpine & Nordic skiing and snow boarding
The facilities for Alpine and Nordic skiing and snow boarding in the area ensure that you will have a great holiday. You are assured of plenty of snow and lots of winter sports pleasure on the miles of ski runs near Idre Fjäll and Fjätervålen, both an hour’s drive from PAN Village Fulufjällsbyn.
Snowshoe hiking
In winter, too, PAN Park Fulufjället is a wonderful place to explore; for example, snowshoeing to the frozen 93-metre Njupeskär waterfall, nature’s dazzling and enchanting work of art that glitters in every ray of sunshine. The walk takes about two hours from ‘Naturum’ visitors’ centre. Near the waterfall is a hut where you can get nice and warm again before continuing your way.
Snowfun for children
Children will have a great time in Fulufjällsbyn. The first snow usually falls mid November and does not melt before April. So, there is enough time for young and old to have lots and lots of snow fun. The children will enjoy building their own igloo near you stuga or playing with the sledge that you borrowed at the reception desk (where you can also hire children’s skis and snowshoes).
Husky safari
Go on a half-day husky safari and let those sturdy dogs pull your sleigh through the spellbinding white world.
Sleigh ride
Enjoy a romantic ‘jingle bells’ sleigh ride with your partner.
Ice fishing
Another unique experience is ice fishing. A local angler will show you how to make ice-holes and then you just have to wait for the fish to bite. The fish that you caught will make a nice dinner.
