Magical Moments in Lapland 2012/13

A 5 night holiday exploring Swedish Lapland and visiting some of the most innovative hotels and locations in Europe's Last Wilderness. What do you need to do?

Make arrangements to arrive in Stockholm (ARN) on Day 1 for lunch time flights to Luleå.
Make arrangements to depart from Stockholm (ARN) airport at the end of this holiday.
If you need any additional accommodation please ask.
We can also include accommodation in Stockholm if required.

Itinerary
Days 1 to 3 - Treehotel

Independent arrival in Stockholm. Flights to Luleå where you will be met by a representative from Treehotel. Approx. 1hr guided transfer from the airport to Treehotel.
The journey to Treehotel takes you along the Luleå River valley, which is the base for some of the available activities at Treehotel. Check in to your room at Treehotel for 2 nights half board. You may feel your room swaying gently in the breeze - all part of the Treehotel experience!
Breakfast is served at Britta's pensionat (part of Treehotel) and with a full range of winter activities to choose from, including cultural experiences and husky excursions you will find plenty to keep you occupied.

Day 3 - ICE HOTEL

After breakfast you will have some time to explore the village of Harads before your transfer to the train stn (approx 30 min transfer) for your train to Kiruna and Jukkasjärvi, home of ICE HOTEL. The train line exists as this is one of the worlds most important iron ore trade routes. Kiruna is home to the worlds largest underground mine.
At Kiruna train station you will be met by an ICE HOTEL representative. Your transfer to ICEHOTEL takes just 20mins. Check in to ICEHOTEL and your SNOWroom (upgrades). Sleep in warmth as you bed is lined with a reindeer skin and you will sleep in sleeping bags specifically designed for ICE HOTEL.

Days 4 to 6 - ICEHOTEL

You will be woken with a hot cup of lingon berry juice at your bedside. Enjoy a morning sauna and a relaxing breakfast before indulging in some activities at ICE HOTEL. There is also the option of a leisurely walk along the frozen river or simply admiring the snow and ice glistening on the trees.
During your second night at ICEHOTEL you will be accommodated in spacious and comfortable warm accommodation at ICE HOTEL so no need for any time consuming transfers!

Day 6
Breakfast & transfers in time for your flight to Stockholm (ARN). Mid-afternoon arrival in Stockholm.
