Make arrangements to arrive in Stockholm on day 1.
Make arrangements to depart from Stockholm (ARN) at the end of this holiday. Please note you will land in Stockholm mid-afternoon.

Itinerary - December to Mid April
Days 1 to 3

Independent arrival in Stockholm. Take your pick from a wide range of excellent centrally located hotels. You will be provided with a 24hr Stockholm Card, perfect for exploring Stockholm as transport on local buses, trains and underground is included along with access to all of Stockholms major attractions.
Simply Sweden strongly recommends a walk around the Old Town, a trip to the Vasa Museum and coffee served with a pastry in a cosy cafe on the island of Södermalm.

Day 3

Perhaps more time to explore Stockholm. Flights leave for Kiruna at around lunch time (approx. 1hr30 flight). A night train is also available - please ask for more information. Arrival at Kiruna airport for a minibus transfer to ICEHOTEL. Issue of warm clothing and a guided tour of this magnificent ice structure. Time to explore the magical snow and ancient forests of Lapland, before checking in to your snow room (upgrades). Curl up in warm sleeping bags especially designed for ICE HOTEL. Room upgrades are available.

Day 3

You are woken with a hot cup of lingon berry juice at your bedside. A generous breakfast buffet is served at ICEHOTEL restaurant. Take your pick from a full programme of winter activities at ICE HOTEL including huskies, snowmobiles, northern lights and cultural experiences. Please ask for our expert scheduelling advice. Check in to your warm accommodation at ICEHOTEL.

Day 4
Wake up in your spacious hotel room. Enjoy a relaxing breakfast before indulging in some more activities, a leisurely walk along the frozen river or simply admiring the snow and ice glisenting on the trees.

Day 5
Breakfast & transfers in time for your flight from Kiruna airport. Mid-afternoon arrival in Stockholm (ARN).
