A magical & picturesque cruise between the 2 largest cities in Sweden. This is not the fastest way to travel between Stockholm & Gothenburg (flying or train are a little faster!) but it is certainly the most relaxing, gracious and entertaining methods of transport. Stockholm and Gothenburg are certainly worth a visit at either end of your cruise.
3 meticulously maintained boats (M/S Diana, M/S Juno and M/S Wilhelm Tham), dating from 1800's, glide through the Göta Kanal, between 2 seas, along 3 canals, across 8 stunning lakes and through 66 impressive locks. You will be catered for on a full board basis during your cruise through the Swedish Countryside, including a breakfast buffet, 2 course lunch and a 3 course evening meal. All your meals are served in the ships traditional dining room. The cabins are small and comfortable. Most are fitted with bunk beds (some do have double beds) and all have a wash basin. Showers & WCs can be found nearby in the corridor. All cabins are above the waterline with a porthole (main deck) or window. All shelter & bridge deck cabins open on to the deck. As there is plenty to see and do during your cruise you will find you spend very little time in your cabin.

Day 1
Arrive in Gothenburg or Stockholm, where you will stay in either the Columbus Hotel (Stockholm) or The Plaza Hotel (Gothenburg), close to the departure of your chosen cruise. Extra nights are available.
Day 2
Boarding begins 1 hour and ends no later than 15 mins prior to departure at 9am for the 6 day tour (10am for the 8 day tour). You will be welcomed aboard by your guide, shown to your cabin and then take coffee in the dining room where you will be able to discuss the seating arrangements for meals during your cruise.
Day 3 to 4 (3 to 6)
Quite simply relax, admire the stunning scenery, enjoy the shore excursions and the mouth watering food this fabulous cruise has to offer!
Day 5 (7)
Arrive in Stockholm or Gothenburg at approximately 1430 (1530 for the 8 day tour). Your hotel is a city centre hotel close to the arrival point of your cruise.
